Reports to help your child or student excel in their learning
Your child’s Dominance Profile identifies their preferred learning styles, biases, strengths and weaker areas.
Specific easy to use techniques that will help your child take greater control of their learning.
How to recognise when they are no longer in an effective learning state based on their profile.
How to recognise when they are no longer in an effective learning state based on their profile.
Enhance the learning environment with our adaptive teaching techniques that compliment your child’s natural learning style.
Discover which areas of learning they find challenging and use targeted techniques to develop these areas.
Keep your student engaged for longer with a classroom position that matches their visual and auditory needs.
Our dominance test isn’t about grading a learner’s academic ability or intelligence.
Our test identifies and celebrates their natural inclinations, biases and preferences for learning, and the teaching styles that complement them.
Based on the ground breaking work of Dr. Carla Hannaford these five combined dominances give us a profile.
There are 32 different profiles, each distinctive with its own characteristics. The profile is the insight we use to identify your child’s naturally wired preference towards learning and receiving instruction in their preferred and distinctive way.
High stress and trauma re-direct significant amounts of electrical activity, blood and oxygen from our cortex (smart brain) to our emotional and survival centres of the brain. This results in a fight, flight or freeze response. The process is known as Cortical inhibition.
When we experience lower levels of stress, such as the stress of new learning, or of finding things difficult, or not getting something quickly, a similar process to cortical inhibition occurs. At these times electrical activity, blood and oxygen is reduced from the non-dominant hemisphere to support the dominant hemisphere.
When this happens we experience a ‘switched off state’, and only consciously process the motor and sensory information from the eye, ear, hand and foot feeding into the dominant hemisphere.
Your child or student’s report will not only give you and them the insight into the effects of stress on their profile, but practical, easy to apply techniques and strategies to reduce stress, and specific movement exercises to help them reset and return to a ‘switched on’ state.
Use one, some or all of the suggestions and recommendations to support them and see them thrive, and engage with their learning.
