Welcome to the first step on your journey of understanding your child or student’s dominance profile. This super-speedy assessment takes just ten minutes and the first thirty seconds is spent filling in important information like your name and who’s being assessed. Simple.

We need this information so we can talk you through the assessment and add their name to their report. If you get called away partway through, you can save your progress by selecting Save and Continue later.  Simply enter you email at the prompt and select save.  We’ll email you a link which is valid for 30 days. 

The test itself is free, you simply pay for your chosen personalised report at the end.

Need to know

Three key points:

• You need a piece of plain paper with a hole in the middle to hand
• Do the steps in order, one at a time and be sure to watch the full video before doing the assessment
• An instinctive response is important so don’t let (child name) watch or hear the video – it’s your job to give them the instructions

Got my eye on you

Three key points:

• If (child name) can wink do the first assessment, if not keep watching for a modified version
• (child name) should hold the paper at arm’s length with any object in view inside the hole
• (child name) head must be still the whole time

All ears

Three key points:

• Stand close together facing one another
• Place the paper between you and whisper very quietly
• If (child name) doesn’t turn to listen, encourage them to turn towards you to hear the secret

No mean feet

Three key points:

• You need a big clear space
• (child name) should stand with feet together and arms and palms flat to their sides 
• Get (child name) to look forward and lean until they lose their balance, their dominant foot will step out to catch them

Pretty handy

Three key points:

• Stand facing each other just under arms-length apart. Maintain eye contact and delay thrusting the paper to create tension
• Thrust the paper in a straight line, belly-button to belly-button
• If (child name) grabs it with one hand the assessment is over, otherwise you need to repeat until they do

Brain games

Here we’re assessing (childs name) dominant brain hemisphere. It’s time for you to take a step back from the computer and let (child name) answer questions on the screen. Score each one before moving on. 

Three key points:

• (child name) there is no right or wrong answer so go with your natural instinct
• Answer each question honestly 
• You can go back and change your answer at any point
